Well, it was 2 years ago that I had the thought that I wanted to pursue a MBA degree.

There are a lot of things that I do in my free time. As people say, all work and no playmakes Jack a dull boy, and I perfectly understand the importance of relaxation after work.

Ilike sports very much and football is my biggest favorite. It’s always great to get together with my mates on weekends, and keep running around the ground for a few hours. It makes me physically stronger and totally refreshed.

I also like reading much. Not too many people today can really sit down and read a book for more than 2 hours every day. But as I think, reading is a rewarding hobby, as it can make you mentally smarter.

One more thing, I like to travel around. I enjoy talking to new people and get to know new customs and places.

2.英语口语的考试技巧

四六级口语并非必考项目，同学们可以自愿报名参加。以前只有笔试成绩达到425分才能报考，现在放开政策，报考笔试的同时可以报考口试。

对于自身整体素质或自己未来有较高要求的同学都应该报考。一则获取经验，二则借此让自己的英语学习更全面而充满热情。

众所周知，英语作文是综合英语素质的输出题型，而口语考试则是综合素质与反应能力的结合。对考生有着更高的要求。

四六级口语考试主要考核英语口头表达能力，包括会话能力；表达意见、情感、观点能力；陈述事件、理由和描述能力等。

其中四级通常包括5部分：

Self-introduction (20’)Read aloud (45’+60’)Question and answer (2X20’)Individual presentation (45’+60’)Pair work (with a given situation) 60’+180’六级包括3部分：

Self-introduction(20’)+ QuestionPresentationFurther question and answer通常各部分之间都紧密关联。考试时间为半小时左右，包括测试准备，等考与具体考试。

考试方式为电脑端进行，考生与模拟考官、随机选择的另一名考生之间的互动。从两方面加以准备，语音语调；谈话内容。

一、语音语调方面

有正确的英语语音语调不仅有助于产生良好的第一印象，也能增加语言辨识力，使所说更容易被理解。同时，正确发音也有助于加强学生的自信心。

1．英式英语还是美式英语？

美式英语作为英式英语的变体之一，因为年轻而轻松活泼如后面喜欢带着个儿化音；英式英语资深老牌，带着高贵的鼻音腔调。

对于现在比较流行的这两种口音，大家不用纠结：如果你明确有前往美国发展的目标，得考托福TOEFL，学美式；想去英国留学得考雅思IELTS，学英式。

除此之外，只要我们的音标学得不走样，跟哪一种口音都行。最终我们会形成自己独特的口音，正如《罗马假日》中的安公主那迷人的异域风情腔英语。

2．如何提高语音语调水平？

的方法应该是跟读直到能够背下来。有很多同学自己口音并不标准，但是学英语很有热情，他们常热衷于朗读。

这样做可能对语感或者英语学习自信有帮助，但是对于口音有损无益。

你应该这么操作：首先找来短小易懂的材料如新概念第二册的故事或者迪斯尼英语；然后一句一句地跟读，注意其中的语音语调；每天每篇跟上个十来遍，直到能背下来。

这种练习可以有效帮助纠正语音语调，这样背下来的内容会在人潜意识里生根，形成正确的语感。

二、谈话内容方面

1．自我介绍与朗读

自我介绍内容可以事先充分准备好没有问题。需要注意的是语音语调的正确。不用因为紧张或者过分想赢得好印象而刻意显得夸张。自然地做自己。张嘴之前深吸一口气，这可以使你发出声音更浑厚，也有助于情绪放松。

朗读也在于放松与语音语调的把握。放松有助于你理解自己所朗读的内容，只有理解了，才能更好地读出感觉，同时帮助你为后面的提问做好准备。

2．看图说话

四级口语中常有这种题型。我们需要遵循总-分-总的原则，关注到整体与细节，最后总结一下。

在第二部分，你可以联系自己的实际，或者发挥想象。因为被考察的主要是你英语表达能力。你通常可以大胆地假设。

3．对话

对话最怕的就是对所给话题不熟悉。这时候我们需要再深吸一口气：毕竟考察的是我们的英语表达能力，而不是你做某事的专业水平。这时候我们要懂得旁敲侧击。比如：

你拿到话题有关Cooking，但是你根本不会做饭。而对方提了一个问题：

Would you please tell me about the dish you are good at cooking?

这时候千万不要慌。你可以实事求是：I’d like to tell you about that but I am sorry I donnot have one, (开始小范围转移话题) because my mother cooks well. All I need to do is eating. I remember when my mother cooks, she uses a lot of kinds of ingredients and sauces to make the dishes rich. Now I've decided to learn from her someday. How about you? What is your favorite dish?

对方问你这个问题，可能是他自己想说的，所以你把皮球踢过去，他应该能接的好。

所有不熟悉的话题我们都可以这样处理：我的室友喜欢看电影，经常看到半夜，一边看一遍笑（哭），下次我也跟他看一部试试之类。

记住：这种策略仅适用于万一话题不是你所拿手。这时候你要记住，更重要的是你的英语表达，而不是你菜做得好不好，影评做得好不好。

当然菜做得好，电影分析的好，能够获得更高的分数。要做到这一点，需要我们平时的积累，每一样话题都准备一两个案例，以备急用。

4． 观点陈述

这种题型有点像议论文。你要懂得摆出观点，论述观点，并归纳总结。需要注意的是，在第二部分，你通常需要具体事件（生活遭遇；新闻事件等）用以充实内容并使人信服。

三、结语

总之，四六级口语考试的目的是促进同学们对平时英语学习的实践。口语化语言要比书面语更简短。在平时学习中，我们要善于将学习材料进行简化并加以口述。比如在我的课堂通常会设置Free Talk环节，旨在让同学们去阅读深入了解一些事件或者事物，然后用简单的口语形式表达出来。以有效的输出促进高能输入，并形成良性循环。

I believe successful salespeople put forth that extra effort that turns potential clients into first-time customers. Salespeople who attend to the details by doing whatever it takes to win over a prospective customer distinguish themselves from the countless others who don't go to any extra effort. Second, I think that if you label success as an attainable goal, you will never consistently remain successful. You can only succeed if you learn all there is to learn about your product, your competitors, and personal selling. Since this learning process is continuous, it's an unattainable goal. With good reason, salespeople should not consider success an attainable ending point but an objective that will always linger slightly beyond their reach.

Last semester I was hired by by university's Council for Student Activities. The group negotiates contracts of entertainers, sets up sound equipment, markets the entertainers to students, and generally decides what kind of programming should be done. Four months later, I have become the Webmaster for the group. I also write our campus newsletter and created Game Night, a student competition of table games. That event yielded the biggest audience ever for a non-concert event.
