在2007年~2014年这7年中，美国制造电动车电池的成本从每千瓦时1000美金下降到了400美金。当电池成本就可降到100多美元时全球普及电动汽车的时代就彻底到来了。

与此同时，在政府越来越严苛的标准下，燃油汽车的内燃机成本其实是在不断上升的。特别是在北京这种大城市，率先开始要求实行“国五标准”，这就对汽车厂商的发动机研发和制造成本提出了巨大的挑战。

当初，燃油汽车靠的是技术的更新赶超了电动车，随着电池技术的进步，电动汽车总有一天会完成逆袭，重获新生。加之政府的扶持鼓励、充电设置的加速建设、大众对环保出行理念的加深，我们有理由相信电动汽车不会再如过往云烟一般匆匆而过。
