1、报考条件有严格限制，必须是该省省内统招的大三应届专科生才可以报考，大部分省份只能应届生报考，错过就不可以报名了（部分省份往届生也可以考）。

2、专升本可以报考的院校局限在省内院校，学生的学校选择空间不大，专业只能选本专业或相近专业，专业选择空间也不大。

3、专升本成功后还必须去本科院校再就读两年，不能像成人教育脱产学习或者边工作边学习，必须是全日制学习。也就是专科3年+本科2年，别人是四年毕业，专升本是要五年才能毕业，毕业证书上会注明”专科起点本科学习”的描述。如果在一些限制条件上未达到要求，或者学习期间挂科、要求的等级证书未取得，可能丧失学位证甚至毕业证。
